The 2026 Ride for Missing Children is officially in the books, and what a day it was. Our riders showed up with purpose, wearing the pins of missing children, rolling through police-escorted streets, and stopping at local schools to honor the kids and families our mission exists for.
As we closed out the day at our ceremony, our community had raised $82,335 and the donations are still coming in.
Where does that money go?
Every dollar raised by our riders goes directly toward funding the work of our local Child Safety Educator, Amanda. Amanda works with school-age children in our community, providing the kind of age-appropriate safety education that can make a real difference in a child's life. Her work is made possible entirely through the generosity of our riders and their supporters. When you donate to a Ride for Missing Children rider, you are helping put an educator in front of local kids who need to hear this message.
Fundraising Continues Through the Year
Even though the ride itself is over, our individual fundraising links remain open. Riders who have not yet reached their minimum will continue working toward that goal throughout the year, and every donation still counts. If you were meaning to support a rider and haven't had the chance yet, it is not too late. Reach out to your rider directly for their link.
Thank You
None of this happens without our riders, our volunteers, our sponsors, and the community members who line the route, open their businesses, and cheer us on. The Ride for Missing Children is one day on the calendar, but the impact it creates lasts all year long. We are grateful for every single person who is part of it.
